MEADOWS - PART I

I am obsessed with wildflower meadows. We currently have lawn on all sides of the house and a very large (think regulation football field) lawn that slopes from the house to the pond. I have always wanted to turn this into a large meadow, and after we received our first mowing bill, everyone else agreed :). We're planning on removing all the existing turf and seeding a wildflower + grass mix in the front yard this fall and installing a meadow in the larger lawn as part of Phase 2. In the interim, we're just letting the grass grow.
